  YOUNG STEFF

  Young Steff, is an American R&B, Hip Hop, and Pop singer-songwriter currently riding high on the INDIE artist wave. Steff was born in Vineland,New Jersey. His father was a member of the gospel group Spirit, and his aunt—Gina Thompson—has worked with producer Rodney Jerkins. Having been signed to Roc-A-Fella Records under executives Jay-Z and Damon Dash, then Steff was led to super producer Rich Harrison (who produced hits such as Amerie "1 Thing ", Jennifer Lopez "Get Right", and Beyoncé "Crazy In Love") who offered to sign the young performer after leaving Roc-A-Fella to his growing Richcraft label through Atlantic Records after an impromptu audition. Soon Steff found his way signing to Rodney Jerkins. Now at 25, Young Steff is free from contracts and currently working on his own thing with HHBFM. With a new single and video out called 'She's My Queen' Steff is learning his way around this INDIE world which allows him to do the kind of music that we will talk about for years to come.
